Are you an Empath?
Do you feel you might be an Empath? I have met a lot of sensitive people and a lot of empaths lately and as much as its a gift it can also be challenging at times as we feel a lot of what is going on around us. The trick is to use it consciously and to be aware of which feelings are yours and which are not.
Spending some time alone is also good now and then too clear and re balance and to also process experiences. Empaths are very feeling orientated and this is a true gift if you work with it.
Some Signs that You are an Empath
You feel overwhelmed in busy places
You feel others pain
You know when someone is lying
You get tired easily
Sometimes Empaths even feel others physical symptoms
Animals are attracted to you
There are many more signs and these are just a few which came to mind.
Using your Empathic Gifts
Empathy is a “feeling” of another’s real emotions to a point where an empath can relate to that person by sensing true feelings that run deeper than those portrayed on the surface. People commonly put on a “show” of expression. This is a learned trait of hiding authentic expression in an increasingly demanding society.
This can be used in many professions and also in alternative health and healing.
You will find empaths working with people, animals or nature with a true passion and dedication to help them. They are often tireless teachers and/or caretakers for our environment and all within it. Many volunteers are empathic and give up personal time to help others without pay and/or recognition.
Self care for Empaths
1.Get enough sleep
2. Hydrate. So important.
4 Spend time in nature.
5. Journal or write out your feelings
6. Be creative. Dance, paint, sing cook or however you like to be creative
7.Have a bath and put some epsom salts in it. It will clear your Aura
8.Play with a pet or snuggle
9.Switch off social media at times
10.Read a book
These are important for everyone but essential for empaths so they dont burn out. Try to do some of these on a regular basis and it will strengthen and invigorate you,
